Protect yourself from rearing

Well, today is Saturday. Time to kick back,do nothing (yeah, right), and go horse backriding.
Saturday's always a good day to go horseback riding. It's a great way to forget thisweek's stress from that job.
Ain't nuttin' like sittin' on a safe, calm horse and riding for miles while the sun paints you with soft heat.
And as one of my kind subscribers put it:"I like watching the sun set between the earsof my horse."
I'm going riding today - I hope you get toalso.
Talk to you tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Andy Curry
P.S. Here's a horse tip:
Ever been on a horse that reared? It may seemneat but it's actually very dangerous. If you'reever on a horse that rears don't pull on the reins. If you do, you could pull the horse over on top ofyou. That's 1500 pounds of "OUCH" on you body.
Instead, give the horse free rein or just dropthe reins and then lean forward.
If you still have hold of the reins once he's back on the ground from rearing then boot himforward with a lot of energy the second his feetcontact the ground. Make him work hard for abit.
If he rears again, repeat process. Pretty soon theol' horse'll figure out he's gotta work after herears. He'll begin to stop rearing if you makeit hard on him.
And here's another hint. Making a horse go forwardis a way to cure "LOTS" of problems. Rearing issimply one of them.
Remember, some horses may take longer to figure thisout. It just takes as long as it takes.
