When I got my first horse I had no idea what to look for. Worse, I didn't know what kind of trouble I could get into by not having a "good" horse. You see, I was relying on my past experiences of horseback riding when I was a kid. Sure, I rode my share of horses. But what I didn't know is how much training and handling those horses had. The horse's training and handling made it forgiving of my beginning riding skills. Looking back, I know I gave those horses reason to buck me off. But because they were ridden and handled so often, they were tolerant of my kickin' them in the ribs or pulling on the reins when I shouldn't have. Thus, I sort of had it in the back of my mind that I knew all I needed to know about horses. Besides, if you watch an old John Wayne movie, a person learns how to handle horses, right? Wrong! When I got my first horse I had to borrow a saddle. I didn't know how to put it on the horse. It took me ten minutes to get her bridle on because I'd only done it a total of two times before...and she knew it and didn't like me doing it! Nevertheless, I finally got her ready to go. When I went to mount her, she'd move. When I raised my leg to get into the stirrup she'd move again. That's not a sign of a "good" horse. (But it's correctable.) Anyway, I tried and tried to get on her but she wouldn't let me. Finally, I gave up. (Something I learned later I shouldn't have done). So I decided to take off the saddle and bridle. But when I did, I experienced a near-fatal disaster that nearly destroyed my dream of owning and riding a horse. Here's what happend... I gave up trying to ride her. So I led her back to the barn. When we stopped, I began to remove the bridle. As I pulled it out of her mouth she began to walk away from me. At that very moment, the reins caught around the saddle horn. I kept pulling on the reins to try and get her to walk towards me. Then I could remove the reins from the saddle horn. But she resisted and pulled away from me. So then I tried to "flick" the reins off the saddle horn like you'd flick a garden hose to unkink it. But as I flicked the reins her eyes flew open wide. Why? It scared her. In fact, it not only scared her, it FREAKED her out! As she tried to get away, I pulled harder to try and remove the reins. But it was no contest. It was little ol' me (203 lbs) against a 1,200 pound, frightened, big-muscled horse. I don't need to tell you who won the pulling contest. Suddenly, she jumped past me. She started bucking like she was being stung by a thousand bees. Before I knew what happened, the bridle and the reins were getting tangled in her back legs. All I could think about was my horse was going to break her legs. My dream was being destroyed as I helplessly watched. (Not to mention the suffering of a beautiful horse that could happen) Within seconds, she had zoomed far away from me. After a minute or two, I went looking for her. On my way I found the bridle, a stirrup, and the saddle blanket laying on the ground. And when I found her, she was still wide-eyed and scared of me. I was shocked to see the saddle was no longer on her back. It was loosely hanging from her belly... lightly swinging back and forth like a pendulum on a Grandfather clock. When I found her, I froze in my tracks. I didn't move towards her. I don't even think I blinked... I kept replaying that "freak-out" scene in my head. I kept asking myself, "Do I have the slightest idea what I'm doing?" And worse,..."Did I buy a 'bad' horse?" Finally, I s-l-o-w-l-y moved towards her. But I didn't get more than 8 steps when she took off running and bucking again. But this time, the saddle was tangled up in her rear legs. Again, I watched in agonizing horror as my dream horse was about to be crippled for life. Amazingly, the saddle slipped off her like an oversized ring on a tiny finger. I quickly picked it up and moved it out of the way in case she bolted again. But as I picked it up, I saw it was missing both stirrups. Not only that, the horse had broken a leather strap on the saddle. (So much for borrowing a saddle) Soon after the fiasco, the horse never trusted me - or at least it seemed that way. I didn't have the courage to get on her after that. So rather than give in, I found a great horse trainer in my area. In short, he worked her over. In a month's time she was almost a completely different horse. I could easily get on her. Turn her. Stop her. Back her up a little. And comfortably ride her. But it cost me $500! Was it worth it? Yes. Could I have trained her to do the same? Eventually. But I had lots to learn first. This is when I started studying about horses and their behavior. The more I learned, the more I knew I didn't know. Probably the most important thing I discovered was this: It's Important
To Since I was a beginner I didn't know how to buy a "good" horse. I didn't know what to look for, what price to pay, or where to look for a good one. I didn't know squat! But I was truly lucky. I had a horse that was pretty good to begin with according to the trainer. And now that I've ridden her quite a bit, I'd have to agree. Like I said, I was lucky. But, lots of people get ripped off from buying a bad horse and worse...get hurt. |
Knowing all that, it's important you know the secrets to spotting a "good" horse.

Whew! That's a truckload of information, isn't it? There's more...much more. But I don't want to overload you with too much.
And to convince you that you must have this killer information, I'm going to offer you two shameless bribes
Check out this incredible first bonus:
An conversation with former horse training expert Jerry Loveland.
Jerry started riding horses ever since he was big enough to get on one. As near as I can tell, that was 55 years ago.
Thus, Jerry has an incredible amount of knowledge that spans 55 years.
He used to train race horses that would be worth, in today's dollars, hundreds of thousands of dollars.
What's more, every time I go riding with Jerry I'm amazed at how much more I learned about horses that day.
Knowing all that, you can see that the knowledge Jerry has about horses is valuable.
Imagine having that kind of a skill! How awesome.
In this conversation Jerry and I reveal secret after secret of what you need to look for in a horse. We don't hold back anything. As a matter fact, we were both mentally drained from spilling everything we know.
Our incredible tips will save you thousands of dollars. How?
Because if you buy a "problem" horse you could easily spend hundreds (to thousands) of dollars fixing a hidden problem that may never be "fixable".
What kinds of problems? Here are some examples:
You could get a horse
that is foundered and not even know it.
You could get a horse
that's got painful arthritis in his shoulder but you can't see it
unless you know what to look for.
You could get a horse that's been drugged to mask its evil temperament.
Heck, there are some problems even a guru horse trainer or the world's smartest veterinarian can't fix.
But,...buy a good horse...and you don't spend any money trying to fix a problem. You're simply ready to go...like buying a brand new car and driving it right off the lot.
Imagine buying a good horse with four good legs, does what you ask, and is friendly. Your horseback riding days will be filled with wonderful and carefree indulgences.

Isn't that an amazing amount of information? This is just the tip of the ice berg, too.
Listen. After this conversation, even I couldn't believe all the incredible tips we spilled our guts on. In fact, it is so valuable, I almost made it into a $99.00 product to sell rather than give it away as a bonus.
Considering it would take someone months (or years) to learn this information on their own it would easily be worth $99.00. Especially if you saved a couple thousand dollars just in unforeseen vet and training bills. Even at $99.00, it'd be an enormous bargain.
Why?
Because if you tried to learn this on your own it would take you at least a year.
You'd have to ask a ton of questions and research like crazy. Plus, you'd have to know who to ask. And worse, you'd have to know "what" to ask.
Then you'd have to make sense of it all. Believe me, there is a lot to know when it comes to buying a horse.
It's not like buying a car. You can't plug a horse into a computer and know what's wrong with it. It's just not that simple.
Without this information you could make some serious buying mistakes. You could easily end up with a problem horse.
And if you buy a "bad" horse, you'll lose that money faster 'n you can scream, "What happened?" And worse, you could get hurt. After all, if you get a 1500 pound horse that's downright mean...you could get seriously hurt.
But when you know this information you almost couldn't go wrong if you tried. Now you can easily
And like I said a minute ago, if you're still not convinced I'm going to throw in another valuable bonus.
Here's what it is.
To help you tie everything together and feel confident you can buy the "right" horse, I'm going to give you a Horse Evaluation Checklist.
What's so valuable about this checklist?
Listen to this!
There are 56 probing questions to be answered on this form when considering buying a horse. Although they don't take long to answer, they are things you need to know as you go looking for your horse.
This Checklist won't leave any stones unturned. As you go looking for your horse, you'll feel confident knowing you have asked all the right questions.
And just like the information in the interview tape, it would take you months of research and time to figure out all the right questions to ask. Plus, you may not know all the questions you should ask.
But this Horse Evaluation Checklist does it for you.
Now you'll know all the questions to ask and you won't have to research it...
Since you'll be armed with knowing what questions to ask, you'll be that much closer to living your dream of having the perfect horse!
The day you'll be riding a beautiful horse watching peaceful sunsets or riding pine scented mountain trails is just around the corner.
And this amazing FREE bonus, which would normally cost you $29, is yours for nothing. Zero. Zippo.
That brings me to the last question you're probably wondering about.
What is the price of my guide called
It is only $67.00 (plus s/h).
Pretty cheap considering I'm giving you two FREE bonuses worth an amazing $129.00.
If you do the math, it's almost like I'm giving you $62.00 to give me $67.00 for the information. ($129 of bonuses minus the $67 cost of the book).
This is a deal of a lifetime.
You want to hurry and get it too because I know the price is pretty darn low considering how much information you get. People keep telling me what a bargain it is and that I should charge more.
I have to charge more pretty quick anyway because I'm almost out of copies and I have to go back to the printer.
I only have 34 copies on hand. When I get more printed up, the price will jump ten bucks. So if you're thinking you want a copy, please order now so you can pay less than everyone else.
